The Yoga Course is designed for BEGINNERS.

Each Course is Seven Weeks Long and Classes Meet Once a Week for Seventy-Five Minutes unless stated otherwise.

YOGA PARTICIPANTS

As you begin your yoga course: Wear loose comfortable clothing. Don’t eat before a class.

Bring a beach towel or a small blanket to cover up during the relaxation period. Your body temperature will drop significantly, especially during the colder months.

There is no competition in yoga during class if it hurts Stop! Don’t try to keep up, use common sense progress at your own pace.

Were trying to create an atmosphere of calmness and peace. Please turn off your cell phone.

If you come to class late, or if you must leave early, please do it quietly.

 Do not wear perfume, after shave, ect. It is irritating to some as we practice our deep breathing.  

Do not come to class if you are ill!
Your welcome to bring a water bottle to class. Some rooms are dry during the winter months. Start drinking more water as indicated on the back of your yoga guide. It will help flush the toxins from your system .

YOGA WORKSHOP LEVEL II.
PRESENTED BY BRUCE VAN DYKE

This yoga workshop is a continuation from the beginning yoga course.
You will learn 20 new hatha yoga exercises in this special 2 ½ hour workshop. If you would like to learn new exercises a step above level I. and don’t have the time to commit to a 7 week course, this workshop is for you!

I will emphasize the development of concentration, vitality and increased energy. Included will be pranayama techniques and the 12 position Full Sun Salutation, as well as other methods I’ve learned from prominent yoga teachers such as Rodney Yee, David Life, Donna Farhi, and others. YOGA MANUAL PROVIDED.

 

A FAST TRACK VINYASA YOGA COURSE

If you are a yoga student that has repeated Bruce’s Beginners course several times and feel you need a Refresher but do not desire the in-depth background provided in the beginners course, or do not care to advance to Level II. This 7 week course featuring Vinyasa is For you. Vinyasa means to flow freely. We will repeat the beginners Course moving freely from one pose to the next without pause and explanations, Developing a deeper mind-body connection, learning free flowing routine each session. I will lead you through the routine once slowly to refresh your memory, we will rest in Savasana and repeat again more smoothly. Ending with Relaxation and Meditation.
